Screen International and Cineuropa announced the Motovun Film Festival, Istria, Croatia
Two leading European media devoted to the audiovisual industry, Screen International and Cineuropa, announced the Motovun Film Festival, with special emphasis on the finalist’s Bauer award.
Screen International is multimedia publication devoted to film, which exists in the current form since 1976. It is available in 70 countries worldwide, and since 2001 it has a daily on-line edition Screendaily.com.
It was latter that announced 14th Motovun Festival under the title ‘Motovun film festival announces lineup and Bauer Award nominees.’
ScreenDaily especially emphasizes competition for the Bauer award, whose finalists this year are films ‘Majka asfalta’ (Mather of asphalt) by Dalibor Matanic, ‘Otac’ (Father) by Vlado Škarafa and ‘Tilva Roš’ by Nicholas Lezaic.
Bauer Award also intrigued Cineuropa, the first European portal dedicated to the audiovisual industry, which in four languages daily informes film professionals about all important events in the field.
Entitled ‘Motovun announces main competition, Bauer nominees’ except finalists of Bauer awards Cineuropa also announces key titles of the main Motovun program.
14th Motovun Film Festival will be held from 25th to 29th July, screening more than 90 films in seven program selections and the first regional 3D projection in the open.
