In Istria, in Rovinj, Maistra plans to open its new five star hotel, ‘Lone’, with 248 rooms, conference center and wellness, and opening is planned for September. The hotel will be architecturally integrated into the nature and the green landscape. Situated in an attractive tourist area of Monte Mulini, it will exude elegance and minimalism, all signed by renowned architects of Studio 3LHD from Zagreb.

In Kvarner, precisely in Selce, a new five-star hotel, ‘Amabilis’, opens in mid-June, with 60 beds and all facilities, with an emphasis on health tourism, primarily the clinic for esthetic treatments. Selce already has tradition of health tourism and it is not surprising that the investor puts special attention on this particular form of tourism which will thus be interesting to market throughout the year.

Hotel ‘Iadera’, the first five star hotel in northern Dalmatia, opens in the region of Zadar, in Petrčane.

The hotel will have 210 rooms, a spa and wellness center streaching on 8000 square meters, a dozen of different pools, several meeting rooms and many other amenities that will be offered to the tourist market during the year.

In Dubrovnik area, on the island of Lopud, the hotel Lafodia is being reconstructed and will carry four stars, enriching the offer with new content that should contribute to a new swing for tourism development on this sleepy island. It goes without saying that the hotel will be the backbone of the future development of the island and that it will, with its new position in the market to, make this destination distinctive.

These investments in hotels will bring a total of more than 700 rooms will be offered to guests of the Adriatic. Since all the hotels carry four and five stars, it is obvious intention of investors to raise the quality and offer of hotel industry, and thus the price class, which ultimately leads to improving the quality of Croatian tourism in general.
