Casanova Fest

Casanova films screening, short erotic films. Casanovafest, the love and erotic festival is being held on the 23st – 25th of June 2011 in Vrsar, one of the sources of inspiration for this unique manifestation, which even for Casanova, during his two visits in 1743. and 1744. remained in his memory as a place of fine drink, good food and beautiful women.
Casanovafest was invented by Slobodan Vugrinec and Boris T. Matić as a manifestation which celebrates historical connections between the famous lover Casanova and Vrsar.

Montraker Sculpture School

Sculpture School. This one-year school founded in 1991 turned international in 1993 when students of the Academy of Arts from Bratislava joined the school. For about twenty days at the end of summer the old quarry Montraker in Vrsar becomes the centre of sculptural production. Besides students, professors-mentors also transform their ideas into works of art in stone. Professional stone-masons are there to help them with their work.
